Product Care
Taking Care of Your Jewelry
Jewelry like many things benefits from regular upkeep and care. While your jewelry wont necessarily be ruined if you don't follow these tips, its appearance may change slightly over time and will likely loose its luster. By following these tips, you can keep your jewelry looking brand new longer.

While wearing
The most noticeable and permanent blemishes and tarnishes comes from wear and tear damages. Try to follow these tips to minimize these damages:
-
protect your jewelry from knocks and scratches
-
remove jewelry before showering, bathing, swimming in chlorinated water or sea water, or handling harsh chemicals
-
avoid spraying perfume or applying creams directly on to your jewelry
Cleaning
Cleaning your jewelry regularly is highly recommended. Your skin excretes oils and your sweat leaves salt which can have negative effects on your jewelry after a long period of time and reduce its shine. We suggest the following steps clean your jewelry:

-
soak in warm water with a mild soap for 10 minutes
-
brush with a clean brush
-
pat dry with a cloth (paper towels might leave some fibers on the prongs, avoid using paper towels if possible)
-
let your jewelry air dry completely
-
buff your jewelry with a microfiber cloth or a suede cloth for even better results (you can use your Miko.M pouch )

Storing properly
Storing jewelry properly prevents them from getting damaged as well as minimize the need to give your jewelry a deep clean. We suggest the following:
-
give your jewelry a light clean before storing
-
store pieces individually in the included Miko.M pouch or in a dedicated jewelry box
-
store them in a dark, cool, and dry place to avoid unnecessary exposure to the elements
